Hi, my name is Molly Williams and I have been in the childcare field since August 2000. I am married to a wonderful man named John and I have a son and daughter. I believe children excel in a nurturing and stable environment that encourages the child's creativity, builds their self-esteem and promotes their love of learning through fun activities and lots of play time. When my son was little I became very discouraged by the large ratios of children to teachers I found in child care centers and other schools. We felt our son was getting lost in the shuffle of the other kids both socially and academically. It was a very hard experience for him and for us. I do not want any child or parent to ever feel the way we did. No child should ever be "lost in the shuffle"! Your child will receive one-on-one attention, love, trust and the security they need and deserve to thrive in their development.
Each day the children learn through fun activities such as: "Circle Time" where we learn our letters, numbers, colors, shapes, etc., "Music Time" where we play with instruments, listen to music or play musical games, dramatic play, outdoor play, arts and crafts and "Story Time". I also have a storyteller from the Arapahoe Library District that visits us once a month.
Not only do I provide the curriculum, arts and craft supplies, breakfast (before 8:00 a.m.), lunch, and 2 snacks but I always keep my home in compliance with the Colorado Child Care Regulations. I am CPR and first aid certified and I keep current on all required training and childcare education including health, medication, universal precautions and nutrition education through workshops, conferences and classes. I strive to keep my home happy, healthy and safe! I am also a member of the Arapahoe Family Child Care Association and Douglas County Child Care Associations.
